2011 Tour of America's Dairyland
The third year of the omnium competition, Tour of America's Dairyland presented by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board will travel throughout 11 Wisconsin communities, June 16-26, 2011, including three new venues, a featured stop on the USA CRITS Series, and a non-aero equipment Time Trial. In 2011, over $110,000 in cash and mega primes plus chocolate milk, the coveted cow-print jersey and amazing Overall prizes including Gunnar and Waterford Frames plus Mercury Wheel Sets will be awarded to racers of multiple categories during the Tour of America's Dairyland.
Midwest Cycling Series, LLC, founder and promoter of the Tour of America?s Dairyland, comprises six avid cyclists and successful entrepreneurs including U.S. Cycling Team Olympian and Team Sports, Inc. President Tom Schuler, Olympic Road Race Trials qualifier and former Nova Cycle Sports Foundation President Bill Ochowicz, Milwaukee Junior Cycling Team co-Executive Director Bill Koch, National Senior Olympics competitor Jim Michler, Paul Weaver, founder of one of Wisconsin's longest running multi-sport teams, Team GEARGRINDER, and Jack Hirt, former executive director of the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin, who leads day-to-day operations as Executive Director.
